LAS RELACIONES PELIGROSAS

 

«Esta novela quema como el hielo», dijo en su día el propio Charles Baudelaire, y no se equivocó en absoluto, pues en el corazón del relato anida un glaciar, y allí, en la gélida llama de los hielos perpetuos, arde todo: cuerpo, alma y sentimientos.

 

Charles Baudelaire was not mistaken at all when he said, "If this book burns, it can burn only as ice does.  At the heart of this story is a glacier. There, within the frozen flame of perpetual ice, everything burns: feelings, soul, and body.
